STUDIO STABIO COGS, CRANKS & COUNTERWEIGHTS
The task of this project was to show off the immaculate engineering of Studio Stabio's custom-designed, hand-cranked behemoth of a door. The content focused on the cogs, cranks and counterweights that drive this marvel of engineering. We used a RED Komodo & Canon R5 paired with a jib and a plethora of lighting and lenses.
Using a probe lens in production always brings surprises. It forces us to think differently, taking us into previously unexplorable nooks and crannies that give an almost CGI feel to the footage. Much respect to the engineers who's meticulous artistry and technical expertise made it easy for us to grab such mesmerizing shots.
